Foundation for railway noise barrier
Foundations for railway noise barriers are available in lengths from 1.5 to 3.5 meters. These foundations are significantly stronger than our other foundation types, to meet the Swedish Transport Administration's requirements for dynamic loads and service life classes.
The design speed of the train can vary between 50 km/h to 300 km/h where the distance from the track is from 3.5 m and above. Thanks to Terrawing high capacity, our foundations are particularly favorable along the rail, since it is often limited time to work along the track. Because you knock down the foundations in unspoiled ground, you also avoid problems with possible replacements due to digging in the embankment, when the noise protections are located near the track.
If you can only access the foundations from the track, use a tracked excavator or Bopec tracked machine placed on a train carriage. If there is space next to the track, avoid using the rails by striking the foundations with an excavator or Bopec tracked machine directly from the ground.

If space is available next to the track we can avoid to use the track by installing the foundations with an excavator or crawler Bopec's machine directly from the terrain.
